How We Roll

Here we are on Galveston Island in Texas approximately 2000 miles from our "home" in Santa Cruz, California. We have actually wended our way over hill and dale for 3216 miles to arrive at our current destination. How, you might ask, do they do that? The answer is simply Slow Travel. We travel and live in a vehicle that is eight feet wide and 20 feet long. It includes a full kitchen, full bath, sleeping area, and living room. We travel 200 miles or less (at 55miles per hour)and then stop for a day, or two,or three.
Daily life on the road does have its rituals and disciples. On every travel day, we worship at the Temple of the Gas Station. As devotees of fossil fuel, we donate generously...generally $100 a pop. We also are charter members of the Dump Station Club. As members in good standing, we deposit regularly.

Current President of the Dump Station Club.
